Learn about the camouflaging abilities of octopuses and bats in this workshop! Using recycled materials easily found at home, build your own miniature animal basket and you can use it to store small items like paper clips after the workshop.

Do you know how does a pangolin looks like? Come join us and learn about the pangolins in Singapore at our colouring session. For kids of all ages. 

Creatures of the Night Lantern

Learn about native nocturnal animals and come create a beautiful silhouette lantern using tracing paper, chopsticks and recycled paper cut-outs. These lanterns will also be perfect for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival!  

DIY Leaf-Rubbing Postcards & Bookmarks

West Grove Primary School (WGPS):

Join West Grove Primary School to learn more about our native plants as well as create your own bookmark made from leaf rubbings!

Hwa Chong Institution (HCI):

Make your own postcard from leaf rubbings while learning about our native plant species! Pen down a motivational quote or a message, and send your personalised postcard to a friend to inspire them to act for biodiversity!

Yuvabharathi International School (YBIS):

Join Yuvabharathi International School as they share about the dragonflies in our midst while making your own dragonfly magnet/clips!

Flight 'FAN'tasies

Is the afternoon heat getting too unbearable for you? No worries! Join us in designing your own Imperial Pigeon fan using paper plates, felts and ice cream sticks! You can use this unique fan to fan the heat away after the workshop!

Horseshoe Crab Conservation

Republic Polutechnic (RP):

Horseshoe crabs are unique marine creatures found in Singapore. How much do you know about them? In this workshop, get to know them through an origami making session where you will learn about the native species through poster presentation and surveys. Get to know their threat and the conservation effort to protect them. Take home not only beautiful origami of horseshoe crabs, but also knowledge about these living fossils that you can share with others.

i heART Nature 

Join us for a fun-filled nature themed craft workshop where you will create your own bird mobile, butterfly origami and more! Learn about the wonders of our local animals and plants. Suitable for children aged 5 years to 8 years. Adults are also welcome to join.

Learn about Singapore’s wildlife by following the adventures of Paddy the Flying Pulai. See the world through Paddy’s eyes with a short animation video and some simple paper crafts.

Build your own sea jelly or sea turtle using recycled egg carton cut outs! In doing so, learn about the different body parts of your chosen animal and how they assist the animal in the marine environment. 

Stained Animal Glass Cut-outs

Chung Cheng High School (Main) (CCHMS):

Learn about the main pollinators (bees, butterflies, birds and bats) present across Singapore! These pollinators provide an essential ecosystem service, called pollination. Join Chung Cheng High School (Main) as they will teach participants how to create a 'stained glass animal cut-outs'!
